Anushri Shetty and Maitri Uka, founders of studio in•elements

about

in•elements is an architecture and design practice founded by architects Anushri Shetty and Maitri Uka. Our collaboration began while working together at Architecture BRIO, where we discovered a shared philosophy: that architecture must be both deeply responsive to its environment and resonant with its inhabitants.

Anushri integrates a refined sense of spatial storytelling and detail oriented approach. A graduate of the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai, her background includes national and international design recognition, such as representing India at the London Design Biennale. Her work is defined by context-sensitive detailing and a profound commitment to human-centric design.

Maitri brings a sustainability-driven approach, grounded in her Master’s from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, Barcelona. Her expertise focuses on regenerative design and natural materials, emphasising climate-responsive systems, an approach shaped by her contribution to the widely recognised and published project, The Voxel.

By bridging technical rigour with these sustainable human-centric narratives, in•elements creates spaces that harmonise ecological consciousness with the lived experience.
