The Nest is a 1,200 sq. ft. home in Juhu designed around a sense of warmth, ease and everyday comfort. The interiors use a restrained palette of natural wood, soft neutrals and muted greens, allowing texture and detail to bring depth to the spaces. Custom joinery runs throughout the home, integrating storage, display and seating into the architecture. In the bedrooms, upholstered headboards and warm timber wardrobes create a quieter, more intimate character, while generous windows and built-in bay seating bring in natural light and connect the interiors to the greenery outside.
Across the home, familiar elements are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. A window seat becomes a place to pause and read, open shelving creates moments for personal objects, and softly rounded edges add a sense of ease to the otherwise clean-lined spaces. Fluted glass, textured fabrics, ribbed tiles and carefully chosen artwork introduce layers without overwhelming the calm material palette. The result is a home that feels personal and lived-in, balancing considered detailing with the relaxed character of a Juhu residence.
