A short film of Plum House, the 386 sq. ft. renovation of a 50-year-old apartment in Breach Candy that now hosts twelve.
plum house: a short film
about the film
The film moves through seven moments in the home: the living room, the display wall, the raw brass console, the bathroom, the stone and timber console, and the entrance. It is made from the original project photography, framed and moved for the edit. There is no narration or music.
The on-screen words are the ideas behind the design: “comfort over perfection”, “a wall of memories”, “it was settling in”, “warmth through texture”, “letting materials speak” and “echoing the people who live within”.
the project
Plum House is Anushri’s own home, shared with her husband, and was designed around how they host, rest and display the cups and objects they have collected. Read the full Plum House story, see the project gallery, or explore our apartment renovation service.
