Watch a short introduction to studio in•elements through five completed spaces in Mumbai.
spaces shaped around life
about the film
The film moves through photographs of home in•between, The Seed, Plum House, Into the Bend and The Nest. Room views and close details introduce the practice through the different rhythms of living and working: shared family space, light, materials, a workplace and the quiet of an everyday room.
The images are original project photographs, cropped and moved for the edit. This is a film made from photography, rather than a filmed tour of the buildings. There is no spoken narration or music.
the spaces you see
- home in•between, Powai: living and dining space within a multigenerational apartment.
- The Seed, Gamdevi: a family-home renovation with handmade details and views of trees.
- Plum House, Breach Candy: a home shaped around collections, materials and hosting.
- Into the Bend, Chembur: a workplace with a warm reception and a distinct material identity.
- The Nest, Juhu: a three-bedroom home with its own character in each room.
The on-screen text introduces architecture and interiors, followed by “spaces shaped around life”, “room for light”, “a dialogue in materials”, “a different rhythm”, “the quiet in the everyday” and “let’s shape your next space”. These are the film's editorial phrases.
